Today comes the surprising (and exciting!) news that the Welsh Government Broadband Support Scheme has being extended until September 2013.
This opens up the opportunity for many more people to benefit from Airband’s high speed wireless internet with speeds of 20 mbps. The network has been working it’s way across the North of Powys with the help of scheme funding and Airband investment since early 2012 and now covers many villages and their surrounding properties.
Coverage includes; Guilsfield, Crew Green, Arddleen, Llandrino, Llanfechain, Pontrobert, Pool Quay, Four Crosses, Sarnau, Criggion, Bwlch-y-Cibau, parts of Welshpool and Llanymynech, with further expansion possible in wake of the scheme in extension.
If you live in one of these areas and have no broadband or speeds of less than 2 Mbps you may be able to benefit from the scheme. Find out now Broadband for Powys.
